Join Us!

Join PPRD and begin your journey to unlock your inner strength, build amazing friendships, and have a blast. We openly recruit new skaters and officials all year round.

Drop in and see us any Sunday from 11-1 to learn basic derby skills and progress at your own pace in our Ascenders Program. No previous skating experience required. $10 a session for the first 60 days. More details about becoming a PPRD member will be provided to you upon attending the Ascenders Practice.

In the Ascenders Program, we work with you to learn basic derby skills at your own pace. We will show you how to stop, turn around, skate backwards, fall safely, and more!

Ascenders program practice is held nearly every Sunday at Hillside Community Center located at 925 S Institute St, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

Please send us a message if you’re planning to drop by for the first time at join@pikespeakrollerderby.org.

Just getting started? We have limited gear available to lend out for a small fee.

Payments can be made upon arrival by cash, check, Venmo or PayPal. After attending an initial Sunday practice and completing the waiver, you will be invited to participate in Sunday and Monday practices at your leisure.

At PPRD you’ll learn that roller derby is so much more than a sport. It is a community, support system, celebration of empowerment and self-expression. Join us!

Do I have to skate to join?

We are always looking for skating referees and off skates officials to join the PPRD family. No experience? No problem. You will train alongside our skilled, knowledgeable officials during league scrimmages – learning all you need to get you ready for game day.

Become an official to learn more about derby, join a fun, inclusive community, make new friends, and be a part of the action on game day.

Send a message to headnso@pikespeakrollerderby.org for more information on how to get involved.
